On October 16th this year Pavel Neyezhmakov - Director General of the Institute of Metrology (NSC) in Kharkov, Member of CIPM, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, has passed away..
Professor Neyezhmakov devoted forty years of his life to work at the NSC, where, due to his high professionalism, honesty and strong leadership qualities, he became an authority and gained well-deserved respect. He successfully combined his work at the NSC with educating young people and acting internationally.
Professor Neyezhmakov was a guest of GUM several times. He will be remembered as a world-famous expert and friendly colleague.
