Visit of the Deputy Head of the Rivne Regional State Administration in GUM
On 13th July this year, in GUM we hosted Deputy Head of the Rivne Regional State Administrationof the Rivne region, Mr. Sergey Gemberg.
During the meeting, attended by the Vice-President, Mr. Rafał Kępka, the Director of the Certification Department, Mrs. Paulina Olszewska, and the Head of the International Cooperation Division, Mr. Marcin Mikiel, activities, the role of our office as the National Metrological Institution, with particular emphasis on services provided to the society and functioning of GUM as a notified body were presented. During the meeting, the guest also got acquainted with basic information on the construction of flagship investment of GUM, i.e. the Świętokrzyski Laboratory Campus.
From his part, Mr. Gemberg presented the conditions for the work of the district administration, related to the difficult war situation. Our guest stressed his willingness to use experience of GUM in the context of the accession process to the European Union in the field of metrology, as well as the implementation of joint projects with our institution, also with the use of external funds.
Further contacts at working level were agreed to identify opportunities for cooperation in specific areas.
