Abstract
The article describes the steps of initial verification of the speedometers working in the control system of segmental speed measurement. The procedure is performed by the Regional Offices of Measures in Gdańsk. There are listed the current rules applied during the initial verification and all the requirements to be met by the Applicant in order to carry out the on-site verification. Particular attention was paid to the obligation to ensure the safety of the area at the time the verification takes place.
