Abstract
Breath analyzers are instruments for measuring the mass concentration of alcohol in exhaled air and are used worldwide for sobriety checks. The requirements and test methods for evidential breath analyzers are described at the Recommendation OIML R 126 issued by the International Organization for Legal Metrology. A discussion of the revised edition of OIML Recommendation R 126:2021 was presented in the paper. A GUM representative participated, like in the case of previous editions, in the development of the new edition of the document.
