Abstract

The paper presents a general scheme of the procedure leading to the preparation of reference materials and the use of materials in environmental analysis. Information on the implementation of works under the research and development project (MODAS) focused on the preparation of a material – a candidate for a certified reference material, which will be characterized by both a diversity of matrix composition and a wide range of analytes, is also presented.
