EUROLAB 2016
18th International Traid Fair of Analytical Measurement and Control Technology
The EuroLab is the only traid fair in our country dedicated to the laboratory industry, which is developed and organized by all-Poland scientific and research centres. This year almost 140 exhibitors from 14 countries, among them the Central office of Measures, took place in 18th International Traid Fair of Analytical Measurement and Control Technology and 5th CrimeLab fair. During just 3 days of the fair (12-14 April 2016) the visitors had the opportunity to acquaint themselves with the full range of products and services offered for laboratories. Among others the exhibitors presented to the public:
- Tools for measuring pressure and temperature;
- Tools for measuring mass, force and mechanical properties of materials;
- Tools for measuring volume, flow and concentration;
- Tools for measuring navigation, meteorological and aerological quantities;
- Tools for measuring ionising and non-ionizing radiation;
- Other physical measurements, metrological supervision;
- Calibration;
- Services and others.
Like in previous years, the EuroLab offered opportunity to meet experts from the field of the analytics in chemistry, biotechnology, metrology, quality management, laboratory diagnostics and nanotechnology. The experts of the Central Office of Measures gave information on legalization requirements of different tapes of measuring instruments and facilities, laboratories and services offered by GUM. The visitors had also opportunity to acquaint themselves with interesting presentations. One of them was Dr Paweł Fotowicz's lecture on the changing definition of units of measurement.
